Upward Soccer 2010
The Upward Soccer League seeks to develop
character in every player by providing an equal opportunity for
improvement, while stressing sportsmanship in every situation.

All Upward Soccer games are played on the fields at New Hanover
Presbyterian Church.


Please Note:
There is no smoking allowed on the fields at New Hanover Church,
and no pets are allowed on the fields. Thank you for showing respect
for
authority and good sportsmanship at all times.
Information for Upward Soccer 2010
- Upward Soccer 2010 is for 4-year-olds (as of
4/1/2010) through 6th Grade.

- Upward Soccer is for children
age 4 (as of 4/1/10) through 6th grade. Early registration price
was $80 through 1/31/10, increasing to $95 after 1/31.
Families who register more than one child may get $5 off each
registration. Enter promotional code "Family" during checkout.
Please register all children at same time to obtain $5 discount
for all. Refunds will not be offered for the first child if you
register additional children later. Financial aid is available on a limited basis. Completed form
must be turned in to the Cool Spring Rec Center prior to
registering.

- We always have a need for coaches. If you would like to be a
coach, please be sure to indicate that when you register your
child. We will contact you when training will be held.
We hope you have enjoyed your past experience with Upward Sports
in basketball, cheering, flag football and soccer. We look
forward to your family participating again this year.

Upward Soccer - Upward promotes character and
self-esteem in every child by providing:

A substitution system that promotes equal playing
time for each player.

An evaluation process to provide equal opportunity
for improvement.
Players Will:
- Sign up individually, not as a team.
- Practice and play a game once each week.
- Get equal playing time every game.
- Will learn new drills to improve your soccer
skills.
- Will receive special recognition awards every
game.
Every Player Will Receive:
- An Upward Soccer Game Jersey and an Upward
Soccer Tee Shirt.
- Soccer socks that match your Jersey
- Note that this year the registration fee
includes shorts.
- Upward Soccer water bottle.
- Upward Soccer car magnet.
- An end of the year award
