In the fall of 2008 we launched TRIB3 – a gathering of students who long to connect to the God who made us, to each other, and to the world around us.

TRIB3 is taken from Revelation 7:9-10

After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation,
tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white
robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice;
‘Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne and to the lamb’.

We are shown a picture of God’s ultimate goal and purpose – the collection of people from all different places and walks of life. They are diverse, unique, but they are all united through Jesus. Their focus is on what God has done and on what God is going to do next. This is the idea behind TRIB3 – a group of young adults who seek to bring people together and long to follow Jesus with their whole heart and life. In this new way of living there is no one on the outside because in Jesus there is no outside.

THE DESIGN OF TRIB3

LARGE GROUP MEETING:  Wednesday nights from 6 – 7:45 pm.

This gathering will consist of:

• Upfront & crowd participation games
• Created and purchased video
• Student led skits/drama
• Worship with our student band
• Teaching time that will introduce a theme/idea/book of the bible for the month.
• This will be our large group meeting for the week and will be an interactive, fun, powerful, life-shaping experience for the first time guest as well as the weekly attendee.
