Worship Preparation - This involves preparing the
Sanctuary and Worship Center for worship each Sunday morning. This
includes meeting the material needs of the Worship Service, decorating
the Sanctuary and Worship Center, and ensuring that the pews have
adequate guest cards, pencils, etc. Worship Preparation is an excellent
behind-the-scenes service to the church.
The Worship Chair Team Ministry - The Chair Team Ministry sets up and
takes down the chairs in the Worship Center every Sunday morning, and
for special events. Participants serve on a rotating schedule throughout
the year.
Audio-Visual Presentation Teams - The audio team is
responsible for sound and recording for all worship services and special
events throughout the year. The visual team is responsible for
running the video presentations and lighting for all worship services.
We will train those who are willing to learn and feel called to commit
to assisting our worship leaders.
The Lord's Supper - The Lord's Supper, or Communion, is usually
given on the first Sunday of each month, during the 8:30, 10:00 and
11:15 Worship Services. In December, it is given during the Christmas
Eve Services.
The Lord's Supper ministry consists usually of several couples or
families throughout the year who volunteer to prepare and set up the
juice trays and bread plates for each service for a series of months.
The actual passing of the trays and plates is done by the deacons during
each Worship Service. The ministry also maintains the trays and plates
themselves, and purchases supplies as needed.
Beautification Ministry Team - This creative design team is
responsible for decorating the two worship centers as well as other
receiving areas of the Cool Spring facility. They give us a festive
taste of God's creative nature through the use of colors, flowers,
plants and other special ornamentations at various times throughout the
year.
Baptismal Ministry - The Baptismal Team is responsible for
filling and draining the baptismal pool and assisting the Baptismal
Candidates during services.
Greeters and Ushers - This team is responsible for greeting
people as they arrive and depart worship services, taking up the
offering and assisting members and guests when special needs arise.
