Cool Spring Church traveled back some 2,000 years ago to the town of Bethlehem. The church was transformed to that time and place, and over 1500 visitors experienced the sights and sounds of this little town much like Mary and Joseph did the night they came looking for a place to rest their heads after a long trip. They encountered people going about their busy day in the marketplace totally unaware of what was soon to take place in a small stable on the edge of town. Children enjoyed talking to shop-keepers, tasting the food in the open market and seeing the baby Jesus in the manger. This interactive, hands-on journey to Christmas was an experience for the entire family to be enjoyed from beginning to end.
