- Every player must attend one soccer evaluation. They will take
place at New
Hanover Church soccer fields on Saturday, February 4, as
follows:
Last Names A through F: Anytime between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM
Last Names G through M: Anytime between 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM
Last Names N through Z: Anytime between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM
Make-up evaluations will be offered on Saturday, February 11,
between 9:00
AM and 12:00 PM, for those who are unable to attend one of the
above
sessions. -
Spring Upward Soccer 2012 is for 4-year-olds
(as of 4/1/2012) through 6th Grade.
Games and practices will
be held at New Hanover
Presbyterian Church, located at 10058 Chamberlayne Road, Mechanicsville, Virginia, 23116 (Click
for directions)
Teams will practice one night each week
on either Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays, from 6:00 to 7:00.
Games will be on Saturdays.
For up to the minute Upward Soccer
information, call the Upward Hotline at 746-8974 and choose
Option #3.
Once again the league will be for those 4 years of age (as of
04/01/2012) through 6th grade.
There is a multi-child discount available at registration.
Families registering more than one child will get
$10 off each registration after the initial child. Refunds will
not be offered for the first child if you register additional
children later. Financial aid is available on a limited basis.
Completed form
must be turned in to the Cool Spring Rec Center prior to
registering.
We always have a need for coaches and
referees. If you would like to be a
coach or referee, please be sure to indicate that when you
register your child. You can download the

in basketball, cheering, flag football and soccer. We look

Players Will:
- Sign up individually, not as a team.
- Practice and play a game once each week.
- Get equal playing time every game.
- Will learn new drills to improve your soccer
skills.
- Will receive special recognition awards every
game.
Every Player Will Receive:
- An Upward Soccer Game Jersey and an Upward
Soccer Tee Shirt.
- Soccer socks that match your Jersey
- Note that this year the registration fee
includes shorts.
